Terms of use
These terms are an agreement between you and Let’s Pray (“we”, “us”) about using the Let’s Pray app and website. By using them you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
The service
Let’s Pray helps you keep track of your five daily prayers: prayer times, reminders and adhan, an alarm for Fajr, a prayer log with streaks and points, prayer groups with friends, a leaderboard, and Prayer Focus, which locks apps you choose around prayer time.
Prayer times are calculated from your location and the method you choose. They are a convenience, not a religious ruling. If your local mosque or scholar gives a different time, follow them. Reminders, alarms and locking depend on your phone’s settings and permissions, and on the operating system, so we cannot promise that every one arrives or rings.
Your account
You sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your phone secure. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings, Advanced, Delete account).
Subscription and free trial
- Let’s Pray uses one plan: an auto-renewing monthly subscription. The price shown in the app and on the store, currently $9.99 per month, may differ by country and may change; we will tell you before a change takes effect.
- New subscribers get a free trial, currently 7 days. You pay nothing during the trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the subscription starts and your Apple ID or Google account is charged.
- The subscription renews every month until you cancel. Payment is taken by Apple or Google, not by us.
- Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in the store.
- Promo and offer codes give access for the period stated on the code. A free trial can be used once per Apple ID or Google account.
- Without an active trial or subscription, the app asks you to subscribe before it can be used.
For purchases made through the App Store, Apple’s standard license agreement also applies.
Using the app properly
- Be respectful. Names, avatars and group names must not be offensive, hateful, sexually explicit, or impersonate someone.
- Do not harass people. Nudges are for encouragement; do not use them to pester anyone.
- Do not cheat the points or leaderboard, try to break or overload our service, or access other people’s data.
- Do not copy or reverse engineer the app except as the law allows.
We may remove names, avatars or groups that break these rules, and suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Your data and our content
Your prayer data is yours. You allow us to store and process it only to run the app for you, as described in the privacy policy. The app, its design, text, character artwork and code belong to us or our licensors, and you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app. Quotes of Qur’an and hadith are for reminder and are not a source of rulings.
Third parties
The app relies on Apple, Google and other providers. Their own terms apply to their services, and we are not responsible for their outages or changes.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running, but it may be interrupted or change. We may update features, and these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or on this page, and continuing to use the app means you accept it.
Ending
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or the law.
Warranties and liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for missed prayers, reminders or alarms. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
